How big is the Pentagon?

The Pentagon is one of the largest office buildings in the world, with about 6.5 million square feet of space. Approximately 3.7 million square feet are used as offices for military and civilian personnel. The building has five floors above ground, two basement levels, and five concentric rings. It contains 17.5 miles of corridors and over 28,000 rooms. Its massive size allows it to house the entire Department of Defense under one roof.
