What dangers exist when climbing Mount Everest?

Climbing Mount Everest involves numerous dangers, including extreme altitude, low oxygen, avalanches, and severe weather. Frostbite, altitude sickness, and hypothermia are common risks. The Khumbu Icefall on the south route is particularly dangerous due to shifting ice and crevasses. Sudden storms can create life-threatening conditions, and traffic congestion near the summit has caused additional risks. Proper training, equipment, and guidance are essential for any climbing attempt. Despite precautions, fatalities occur every year.
