The Jordan River is a big deal in both religious and cultural history. In the Bible, it’s where the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land and where Jesus was baptized. That’s why so many pilgrims visit the river every year for spiritual reasons. It’s also been part of major events throughout the region’s past, making it a symbol of both faith and heritage. Basically, it’s a river that’s much bigger in meaning than in size.
