Ubud is full of cool spots worth checking out, and one of the most famous is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, where you can walk through shaded paths with monkeys roaming around. Another big draw is the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, beautiful stepped rice fields that are perfect for photos and slow walks. The Ubud Palace in the town center shows off traditional Balinese architecture, and right across from it the Ubud Art Market is great for picking up local crafts and souvenirs. For art lovers, the Neka Art Museum showcases impressive Balinese and Indonesian artworks from different eras. There are also peaceful temples like Pura Taman Saraswati with its iconic lotus pond and stone carvings. And don’t miss waterfalls and nature walks just outside the town if you’re into greenery and adventure. No matter what you like — culture, nature, or shopping — there’s something for you in Ubud.
