The best time to visit Ubud is generally during Bali’s dry season from May to September, when it’s sunny and great for exploring outdoors. During those months you’ll usually see clear skies over the rice fields and easier hiking weather without too much rain. Peak season also means more tourists though, so places can feel busier and prices a bit higher. If you don’t mind the chance of some rain, the shoulder months like April or October can be a sweet spot with fewer crowds. Ubud is greener and more dramatic during the rainy season, which runs roughly from November to March, but you’ll want waterproof gear. Always check local weather before booking tours or treks, since showers can come fast in tropical climates. And remember that big cultural events or festivals can also affect crowds and prices.
