Komodo dragons are wild animals, so you must stay with your ranger and keep a safe distance from them at all times. Rangers know how to read dragon behavior and keep you out of harm’s way. You should never try to feed, touch, or get super close for photos with the dragons. Also wear sturdy shoes and be aware of other wildlife, like snakes or insects during hikes. In the water, follow your dive or snorkel guide’s directions because currents and marine animals can be unpredictable. With good preparation and respect for the environment, most visitors have a great time without trouble.
