Cheaha State Park offers a variety of places to stay, from modern campgrounds with hookups to rustic cabins and primitive backcountry sites. There are improved campgrounds with water, electricity, and bathhouses, plus more remote primitive sites near the highest point if you’re looking for a wilderness vibe. Group lodges like the historic Bald Rock Lodge are great for big gatherings, retreats, weddings, or family trips with plenty of space. Reservations can usually be made online or by phone, and popular sites fill up fast on weekends and in fall foliage season. If you prefer solid walls and a bed, there are cabins and chalets close to lake and trail areas too. Keep in mind that some primitive sites don’t have electricity or water, so bring your own supplies and gear. Planning ahead and booking early helps ensure you get the camping style you want.
