What’s the climate like in Mosul?

Mosul has a hot, dry climate for much of the year with very warm summers that can see high temperatures. Winters are cooler, and evenings can be quite chilly compared to the daytime. Rain is more common in the winter and early spring, but overall it’s a pretty dry city because of its location in northern Iraq. This kind of weather influences the best times to visit — many people prefer spring or autumn if they want less heat. Being prepared for big temperature swings between day and night is a smart idea when you’re planning a trip.
