Beijing National Stadium sits in the Olympic Green area of Chaoyang District, a big park built for the 2008 Olympics. The easiest way to reach it is by Beijing’s subway — Lines 8 or 15 will get you close, usually to the Olympic Sports Center or Olympic Park stations. Once you get off, you’ll just walk through the park to reach the stadium entrance. It’s also served by several city bus routes that stop in the Olympic Park area. Taxis and ride-hailing services can drop you off right at the park gates. A visit to the nearby Water Cube (National Aquatics Center) makes for a full day of Olympic sightseeing. Most visitors find public transit super convenient in busy Beijing traffic.
