What is the Alamodome in San Antonio?

The Alamodome is a large indoor multi-purpose stadium located in San Antonio, Texas. It opened on May 15, 1993 and was designed to host a wide range of sports, concerts, and major events. The venue is owned by the City of San Antonio and sits just east of downtown near Interstate 37. Over the years it has welcomed tens of millions of visitors from across the country and around the world.
