What teams play their home games at the Alamodome?

The Alamodome is best known today as the home stadium for the UTSA Roadrunners college football team. UTSA has played its home games there since the football program began in 2011. The stadium is also used by the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League for their home games. In the past, the Alamodome hosted the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs from 1993 until 2002 before the team moved to a new arena. Because of its size and indoor setup, the venue works well for football and other large sports events. The stadium also hosts many high school championships and major college games throughout the year. This mix of teams and events keeps the venue busy during the sports season.
